Surprise! Angry Birds 2 has Been Confirmed for Later This Month

With all the forewarning of a bird crashing through a cement wall, Rovio has announced that Angry Birds 2 is officially coming. Not only that, but it's due out at the end of this month. What's Angry Birds 2 going to be like? Well that we don't know yet. Details are pretty much non-existant at the moment, save for a handful of teaser images and the confirmation that the game exists. We can definitely assume it's going to be similar to the earlier Angry Birds games, though - before they went all endless runner and kart racer.

Rovio will be dropping more details over the next couple of weeks, up until Angry Birds 2 launches worldwide on July 30.
