iPhone App - Designed for iPhone, compatible with iPad

The Misfit Flash is already a pretty nice activity tracker that comes in at a fraction of the cost of an Apple Watch, but now it can do some of the remote control stuff that Apple's wearable can do.

They've released a new app called Misfit Link, which lets you use your Flash for things like controlling your Spotifyand Pandora music, taking pictures with Snapchat or the iPhone's built-in camera app, and even control slide presentations for some reason. More functions are planned for the future, too, such as integration for Logitech Harmony and IFTTT. In addition to the new app there's also a new piece of hardware called the Flash Link, which is an even more affordable activity tracker and "smart button" that will be available for $19.99 when it hits retail later this year - and yes, it also works with Misfit Link.

On top of all of that, Misfit has announced price drops for both the Shine and the Flash; bringing them down to $69.99 and $29.99, respectively. So you can grab either (or both) for the prices I just mentioned, and you can download Misfit Link on the App Store for free.
