There's a new update afoot for the TV-focused social networking app, Beamly TV.

Alongside being able to follow your favorite shows and stars, you can now enjoy a personalized guide to plan your week's viewing and ensure you don't miss a thing. As well as that, you can now post to other Beamly TV users' walls, and take and share animated selfies of your reaction to the latest shows.

The update is available now from the App Store, and Beamly TV is a free download.

Zeebox used to be an app about following your favorite TV shows and stars, chatting with like-minded fans, and enjoying the benefits of having a personalized guide to help you discover new shows. Now, well, it's still all of that. It's just that now we're calling it Beamly TV.

Beamly TV is the new name and look for the older app. 24/7 updates for TV shows and actors, chatrooms you can visit to gush about your favorites (and sometimes even chat with the celebrities themselves), and so on.
