Oh no! Loki and his evil buddies are constructing a super-weapon. Who can stop them? The LEGO® Marvel™ Super Heroes! After their success with consoles and PC last year, Marvel and Lego have teamed up to bring LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril to mobile devices. Play as Spider-Man, Captain America, the Hulk, and 88 other characters. Seek out the Cosmic Bricks in the 45 missions that span the Marvel Universe.

The game has two control settings: “Console” and “Touch Screen,” which will make it easier for players to play the way they prefer. As the app requires no internet access players can feel free to play where and when they like. Just watch out when downloading the game. It takes up 2.2gb of space when downloaded with wifi.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril is available on the App Store for $4.99.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Updated with New Characters, Leaderboards, Gear, and Online Multiplayer

A lot has changed since Injustice: Gods Among Us first released on the App Store. The roster has gotten bigger, lots of little things have been tweaked, and the game has generally been made all the better for it. The new 2.0 update looks like it's doing all that, and more.

First and foremost is the addition of online multiplayer. That's right, now you can pit your elite Batman against your friends and mock their pitiful bronze Green Lantern over the internet! That's not sarcasm, it actually sounds pretty sweet. Then there's the inclusion of leaderboards, so you can be even more competitive with each other. Match replays will probably help with that, too. A bunch of new characters have been made available as well, including Shazam and Catwoman from Batman Returns. And what better way to break those new characters in then by equipping them with new gear cards that can be attached to characters to boost their stats?

You can download the newest version of Injustice: Gods Among Us right now for free.

Warner Bros has just released LEGO Legends of CHIMA Online, which, as the name hints at, is an online multiplayer adventure with solo play options.

The game is based on the LEGO CHIMA universe, where animals take on human characteristics and the eight animal tribes fight to control CHI. Folks familiar with the toys and/or cartoon will find many familiar elements. It allows the player to select from one of four tribes, and to customize a warrior to battle the other four tribes; it also allows one to create weapons and outposts, and to perform trades and alliances with other online players. There is also the ability to pick up a paused or interrupted game from other online portals.

LEGO Legends of CHIMA Online is available for free on the App Store.

Have you been enjoying the hybrid CCG/one-touch fighting game that is Injustice: Gods Among Us? Do you still play it regularly? Well if so, keep at it. And if not you might want to dive back in.

The freemium fighter featuring fan-favorite DC characters (sorry, I ran out of Fs) has recently surpassed one billion (one BILLION) play sessions, and to celebrate Warner Bros. Interactive is giving players a chance to earn major Power Credits. Just play the game for a bit from today (1/30) through Sunday (2/2) and you'll bank 30,000 of the things. That's 30K Power Credits just for playing through the weekend. Not a bad deal, right?

If you already have Injustice: Gods Among Us, just keep playing. Otherwise, if you'd like to take advantage of the offer, you can download it for free and start pummeling Sinestro. Because Sinestro is a jerk.
