September always feels like a time of change. It's the end of summer, the youngsters are heading back for a new school year, and even the daily humdrum of life feels a bit new. But one thing hasn't changed, and that's the quality of the games we've played over the past few weeks. August was a firecracker of a month for mobile games, but September is holding its own quite well. Here are our favorite games of the month.

Welp, it's official. Thimbleweed Park will be getting a mobile version. After lots of wondering and speculation, the developers confirmed it today. Thimbleweed Park will be available on both iOS and Android sometime in the near future. There's no release date just yet.

The end of the year is a time for reflection, of course, as we look back at some of the best games out in 2016 (more to come on that soon!). But we also already have a bunch of games we’re eagerly awaiting once the new year rolls around as well. Here are some of the most anticipated games of 2017.
