The Men Who Wear Multiple Hats have confirmed their true love for hats by announcing that their old-timey hat stacking game Max Gentlemen is coming to iOS.

The origins of the world of Max Gentlemen, with its extreme Victorian gents, come from a spam e-mail for "enhancement" pills. Whilst the action-dating-sim originally planned out never came to be, the hat-stacking gameplay was originally created for a arcade cabinet game jam. Two successful PAX East events and a Kickstarter that reached over 2,000% of its goal later, and the hat stacking action will now make its way to iOS.

The game itself will feature over 39 hats to collect, cross-platform local multiplayer across mobile and desktop platforms, a variety of modes and levels, and online leaderboards.

Due to a lack of understanding on how business works (their words, not mine), Max Gentlemen will be free when it makes its way to the Hat App Store August 21.
