Icarus Studios' "dice builder" Quarriors! is on sale for the next week, so you might want to go download it while you can.
Both the physical game and this digital port have you rolling dice to generate currency/power known as Quiddity, then using that Quiddity to buy more dice to add to your arsenal or summon creatures to defend you/attack opponents, respectively. It's a fun little dice game, and when you play it on your iPad there's a lot less to set up and clean up.
You can download Quarriors! for free from now through April 10. And if you end up really liking it, you can also nab the Quarmageddon! expansion with a $1.99 in-app purchase.
2K DRIVE, the racing game by 2K, is currently free to download. The game offers daily challenges, real licensed cars, authentic locations, and a unique feature, RaceFace, which lets you take a selfie and put yourself behind the wheel. Today might not be the first day of spring - although you would think it's still the middle of winter with the snow we've been getting in NYC - but 2K is still celebrating the changing of the seasons with a pretty impressive sale.
