148Apps - MU Origin’s latest update will spoil you with new content and prizes
Webzen is at it again, churning out a fresh stream of a new class, equipment, and mechanics for its flagship MMO, MU Origin. The game changes quite a bit in its new version update, but we assure you there’s something here for everyone. New multiplayer, refined systems, and more are sure to keep you busy for weeks to come. Here’s what you can expect from the latest patch.
It’s been a while, but MU Origin is introducing a new class at last, the Summoner. The Summoner uses their magical abilities to call upon Valkyrie, who will lay waste to your enemies in battle. You can create a summoner if you have at least one character at 3 Rebirth Level 1, or by using a Scroll of Dark Souls.
You can now create a Sub-Character, too, which should significantly change up the way you play. This “extra” character allows you to play as another class while keeping your Rebirth, Levels, Resources, States, Pets, and more. Equipment and skills won’t transfer between characters, but it should offer you more flexibility in battle. The Sub-Character can be unlocked by completing the quest, “Secret”, which is only available to character at 8 Rebirth Level 1. Once that’s done, you’ll need to pay up 1,500 Unbound Diamonds, and then the Sub-Character is yours.
If you’re looking for more Guild action, MU Origin has you covered in that department as well. The game’s newest Guild event, The Land of Struggle, will pit guilds against each other to be the fastest to defeat the event boss and deal the most damage. The event is ongoing every Wednesday-Friday. If your guild is victorious, you could win a number of fancy prizes, including Bound Zen, EXP, Contribution Points, and the Emperor Card.
You’ll find plenty of other treats sprinkled throughout, as well. The Forge is a new Refine system, while West Akeron is a new all-server area that lets you mingle will all players. Webzen is introducing a new CP Rewards System that gifts players special rewards based on their CP. For fashion forward players, you’ll now have access to the Blood Costume, and the Three Chicken Brothers are sure to please folks in the market for a new pet.
