Chaces are you don't need much prodding to go and download the free mobile version of Mortal Kombat X, but just in case I'll leave you with this little tidbit: even though it's the mobile spin-off, it still has fatalities.

Warner Bros. has some exciting games coming down the pipe!

Command ranks of supervillains in Batman: Arkham Underworld, by Turbine. You will be a kingpin, building your hideout, recruiting villains such as the Riddler, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc, and ruling with an iron fist over Gotham. You can test your skills against other villains, private security forces, the G.C.P.D, and perhaps even the Batman, himself, if you get big enough. Miss playing as Batman? How about in LEGO form? LEGO Batman: Beyond Gotham, by TT Games, has Bats joining up with other super heroes of the DC Comics universe to save the earth from Brainiac's evil plans. The game, originally released for PC and consoles, is making its way to mobile this year.

Lastly, Mortal Kombat X, by NetherRealm Studios, promises to be a collectible card game with all the action of a classic Mortal Kombat game. It will feature cinematic gameplay, brutal fatalities, and a few all-new fighters exclusive to Mortal Kombat X. The app will also connect to the console or PC version of the game and give players the ability to unlock content cross-platform.

Mortal Kombat X, by Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios, will be a a free-to-play fighting/card-battle Mortal Kombat game. The game promises card collecting, multiplayer team combat, classic characters such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Raiden, and the ever popular fatalities that made the series famous.

“NetherRealm Studios has created a Mortal Kombat X mobile experience that allows more players than ever before to play this over-the-top fighting game through their ever-present smartphones, tablets or other devices,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “What’s more, we’ve expanded the unique cross-connectivity feature that links the mobile and console versions of Mortal Kombat X, delivering unique rewards to all players for simply playing the mobile game.”

Mortal Kombat X will be available April 2015.
