Somethin' Else, the crew behind the chillingly popular Halloween-themed voice thriller voiced by Sean Bean Papa Sangre 2, is happy to announce that the game - which takes players on a sound-controlled adventure - has won a prestigious International Mobile Gaming Award for (drum-roll, please) Excellence In Sound Design.

To celebrate, the game is being offered for free on Thursday, March 27, 2014 (today!). We had an opportunity to review Papa Sangre II for Halloween last year. It's currently available on the App Store for its discounted price, but you'd better hurry.

Quarriors! is adding in a new expansion pack called "Quarmageddon" to the game, and to mark the release of this expansion the app is going free for a limited time. The expansion pack costs $1.99, so this means the game and new expansion are available for a total of $1.99 for a short while.

Quarrors! is the mobile version of the board-based dice-building game of the same name. It is a faithful rendition, as our review late last year noted.

The game is available on the App Sore; it returns to regular price ($3.99) next week on March 20.
