Trucks and Skulls NITRO, a physics-based puzzle game that released three years ago, has been updated with a concluding final episode known as Trucksylvania that features around 40 levels. The update also adds a new in-app purchase where players can double their scores with the SuperCharger, giving them an edge on the leaderboards.

Animal Legends becomes an all new battlefield, changing its name to Animal Legends: Battle. The latest update adds new content, including a new character to play as, new gear to collect, and new enemies to battle against. Players can quest with friends while on the search for great loot and can also jump into battle against their friends in the new player vs player mode.

"The new Player vs. Player mode is practically a whole new game all by itself," said Appy Brand Director Paul O'Connor in a press release. "We've had a lot of fun with this feature during our test phase and can't wait to see the strategies players will employ to be top dog in the game."

Let the battles begin!

The Best Free To Play Game of 2011, SpellCraft has just been updated quite substantially to offer even more magic casting fun.

Update 1.2 offers the Loot Machine, new suits such as the Raccoon suit, cracked earth suit and waveform suit plus new jewellery each with their own cool effects.

The Loot Machine is a special reward for players upon completion of a dungeon floor. They can win gold, gems, experience, robes and more all thanks to the luck of the loot Machine.

While, each of the new suits is pretty cool to look at, gamers will particularly love the Raccoon suit, a subtle nod to everyone's favorite plumber: Mario. Acquiring the new suits is great motivation for returning or continuing with the fun social role playing game.

The SpellCraft update is out now. It's the ideal time to check out the game for those that haven't yet had a chance.

Huge Update For Social RPG SpellCraft School of Magic

I really enjoyed SpellCraft School of Magic back in December last year. Evidently, I wasn't alone as it went on to win Best Free To Play Game in our 2011 Best App Ever Awards.

Clearly, Appy Entertainment decided what was there wasn't enough as a new update has been recently released for SpellCraft School of Magic which adds plenty of new things to the social RPG.

First up, the difficulty level has been adjusted to make things a little smoother for many. Harvesting gold is made easier through the new plant, Goldberry, while new healing spells, Healing Touch, Rejuvenation, Renew, help make staying alive that touch simpler!

For the customization addict, new robes and hats in the form of the Bone Robe and the Stormchaser Robe, plus the new and impressive Lifedrinker Wand.

It's a hefty update that makes now the perfect time to return to SpellCraft School of Magic or discover it for the first time. Check out the artwork below for a sign of what's available in this new update.

Stress Relieving Brawling With FaceFighter Ultimate

Posted by Jennifer Allen on August 12th, 2011
+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

Way back when, we reviewed FaceFighter and rather enjoyed its fighting mechanics mixed with being able to 'beat up' whatever can be photographed. A year later in celebration of over 3 million downloads, Appy Entertainment released FaceFighter Gold offering all the previous expansions for free as well as some new features.

We've gone past Gold with the arrival of Universal app FaceFighter Ultimate as of now. FaceFighter Ultimate promises lots and considering the previous success rate will undoubtedly deliver too. The Career mode offers new AI enabling players to fight even more challenging opponents. Playing regularly ensures the reward of free gold coins that can be used to buy more Fighters, Weapons, Weapon Upgrades and Arenas. On that note, there are 8 new arenas to choose from and weapons can now all be upgraded. Finishing moves encompass the likes of frying pans, rubber chickens, lightning strikes and giant ape paws keeping everything suitably light. Even an UFO abduction is possible!

Multiplayer via Game Center is also available and a whole plethora of in-app purchases too for those who want to get on with unlocking extras by buying coins. Plus there's the ever fun element of being able to add the faces of anyone imaginable by simply taking a photo of them. One such example comes from the fight between President Obama and the Speaker of the House John Boehner.

The only limitation to this app is one's imagination. Find Justin Bieber irritating? I know I do. Take a photo of him and stick him on top of a body in FaceFighter Ultimate. Instant stress relief! Heck you could even use a photo of your boss (note: my boss is lovely) if you've just had enough and need to vent.

Check out the potential of FaceFighter Ultimate with the official trailer below. The app is out now for all iOS devices.

Trucks & Skulls - Physics Puzzler Goes Macho

Posted by Chris Hall on October 19th, 2010

The App Store is full of all sorts of silly physics puzzlers that have you destroying flimsy little structures, but eventually people were bound to crave something a bit more angry than the genre king, Angry Birds. Appy Entertainment's (FaceFighter, All-In-1 Zombie Box) new physics puzzler, Trucks & Skulls wants to be just that: Angry Birds on anger pills.

Trucks & Skulls is an app that has you joining the Insane Stunt Circus on the Tour of Doom, with a mission to destroy huge piles of giant skulls that are protected by huge structures made of ice, metal, and "indestructium". If that doesn't deserve a Mountain Dew endorsement, I don't know what does. The app includes over 100 levels (more are promised to come in future expansion packs) that are filled with ramps and things that explode, as well as six different trucks to drive, including the armored semi "Doomstone" and the ready to explode "Insanerator." In all reality, it looks just like Crush The Castle and Angry Birds, only with a lot more attitude and destruction.

The real difference maker, if done right, will be the built in level editor that is available on the iPad version. With it, users will be able to design and share their own levels, possibly extending the game play to infinity. Word is that Appy is still figuring out the best way to share the game via some sort of game portal, so hopefully they'll figure something out that works nicer than emailing levels to one another.

Trucks and Skulls is slated to be released around the end of October, and judging by the looks of things, it looks to be one of the more exciting physics puzzlers on the market. Be sure to check out the rest of the screen shots after the jump.
