Angel Stone's enormous 3.0 update is now live on iOS and Android, and adds a new virtual pad, game mode, ultimate skills, and tons of systems to the game.

That new virtual pad allows for more precise control of your character than before, which improves combat considerably.

And that's a good thing, as there's a challenging new game mode, Heaven's Tower, which provides time-limited search and destroy missions. You can repeat this as many times as you wish, and earn more rewards if you complete higher level stages.

It's safe to say that you've never played an action RPG like Angel Stone on mobile before - or, indeed, on any platform. It includes a ton of innovations and interesting features.

It was developed by Fincon, who has a great pedigree for action RPGs after releasing the hitHello Heroback in 2013. Recently, the developer placed in Facebook's 'Studios to Watch 2015' awards.

As for the game itself, Angel Stone is set in an apocalyptic universe in which angels have been wiped out by a demonic horde, and humanity has formed a group known as The Resistance as the last line of defence.

You play as a member of The Resistance, and must choose a class between the Gunslinger, Berserker, and Shadow Mage before taking the fight directly to thousands of these demons across the variety of PvE and PvP modes.

To learn more about the unique features and innovations which set Angel Stone apart, we reached out to Emilio Villarruel, Community Manager at Fincon, who kindly answered our questions.

Fincon, which won Facebook's Studio to Watch award in 2015, has announced that pre-registration is now open for the massive 3.0 update for its award-winning hack and slasher Angel Stone.

Angel Stone is a post-apocalyptic action RPG in which the angels have fallen and you have to join The Resistance and face-off against hordes of demons trying to wipe out humanity.

There are three classes to choose from: Gunslinger, Berserker, and Shadow Mage. Once you've selected, you can start hack and slashing your way through the numerous game modes.

There's a few different PvE modes for those who prefer to go it alone, and cross-platform co-op and PvP modes if you'd like to join your friends.

Angel Stone launched three months ago and has amassed 6.5 million downloads globally, been featured in the App Store, and made the top five most downloaded RPG chart in over 70 different countries since.
