Addappt has launched a new update on iOS. There's a brand new UI and iconography, totally revamping the way that users use this contact management app. As well, organization has become better with easier group creation, and an improved search functionality. Using the app for the first time? The first-time user experience is much improved now. The update is live on the App Store now.

addappt gets a new update that allows users to "shake-to-call" as they can select a contact and ring them by shaking the phone. That should be interesting the next time a user gets mad at someone and starts shaking their phone!

The update also adds a new Holiday Request option that lets users request mailing addresses from contacts for the gift giving season. Users can even see when a friend has changed their information by alerting them on the home screen or by looking at updates under the specific group.

Addappt is described as "a living address book," and that's pretty accurate. It's a great way to keep all of your contacts up to date and always in sync. This update brings the UI in line with the iOS 7 style and adds a few new features mentioned below.

Addappt is a new app that wants to help you keep your contacts up to date. It does this by connecting your contact info to anyone you have connected with in the app. So when you update your info, or anyone else does, that contact record gets updated in everyone's contacts list that they have connected to. It's a great plan that requires usage of the app, unfortunately.

Contact updates are something that have always been a problem. Let's hope this will help. Addappt is currently in private beta, but we have invites. Mention 148Apps when you request an invite in app and you'll get moved to the top of the list.
