Ancient Egyptian Game Siga Comes To iOS

+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

I studied Ancient Egypt once upon a time as part of my studies. Unfortunately there wasn't a gaming module to it otherwise I might have encountered the Tic Tac Toe-like Siga. It's a game that's been around for countless centuries with its game designs even displayed on temples within Egypt. Clearly at one point, it was very popular. Players of both Tic Tac Toe and Go will recognize certain elements, too.

Much like Tic Tac Toe, players must move all the game pieces to form a line. There's a bit more strategy to it than that, of course, but games are typically quick, much like the aforementioned Western game. It should provide a great change to the regular games of this type. Siga for the iPhone and iPad also provides the ability to play a two player game on the same device as well as via Game Center. Besides being fun, it might even educate children all about what people got up to in Ancient Egypt.

Siga is out now just in time for all those long summer trips with the kids. It's free to download.
