Garruk Gets His Revenge in a New Magic 2015 Expansion, Coming This November
Wizards of the Coast has announced that this November they'll be releasing Garruk's Revenge, a brand new expansion for Magic 2015 - Duels of the Planeswalkers. The expansion will add four new campaign levels and a Garruk Wildspeaker deck from the Alara block.
Crushing your foes will earn you more cards from the Alara series, and in exciting news all of the original Magic 2015 campaign cards (as well as Hunt Bigger Game and the Expansion cards) will be earnable through gameplay. Also, if you've already played the heck out of the game and unlocked the previous five chapters (Innistrad, Theros, Ravnica, Zendikar, and Shandalar), you'll be able to win Battle Boosters in multiplayer matches.
Garruk's Revenge for Magic 2015 will be available for $4.99 on the App Store in early November.

Republique Episode 3: Ones & Zeroes is Available Now
It's finally happened. Today, Republique has passed the halfway point. Episode 3: Ones & Zeroes is now available.
This latest (and longest) episode has Hope attempting to bring down her captors by exposing the truth, with a little help from the local newspaper's editor-in-chief. The propagandized government (if you could call it that) controlled newspaper. Seems like a bit of a conundrum.
You can get your hands on Republique for $4.99, and you can download the latest episode for $2.99. You could also spend $11.99 for the season pass for episodes 3-5 if you already have episode 2, or $14.99 for the whole season pass (episodes 2-5).
Electronic Super Joy: Groove City is Trying a New Kind of Cross-Platform Promotion, on Steam
As Pocket Gamer has pointed out, Electronic Super Joy: Groove City has quietly made its way to iOS. It's also been pointed out that the crazy dace-happy adventure comes with its own Steam key.
Now I'm all for funky music-centric games, but the inclusion of a Steam key is particularly fascinating and exciting. With more and more games becoming available on both mobile and PC, it makes all kinds of sense to do something like this. More so than to do it the other way around, actually, thanks to Apple's limit on the number of promotional codes a developer can generate.
I'm thinking (and hoping) that it's something we'll be seeing more of in the future, but what do you think? Is this a one-off fluke or could this be a sign of what's to come for cross-platform games? Could there be a chance we'll see PSN and Xbox Live codes as pack-ins with mobile games in the future?
You can grab Electronic Super Joy: Groove City off the App Store now for $4.99.
