Turbolab Pursuit is about a scientist who is working on a new vehicle prototype, but there happens to be a group of bad guys who want to steal his latest invention from him. This is where the runner gameplay comes in. It’s the player’s job to outrun an endless onslaught of enemies in their own vehicles as they make their way through a very enjoyable, randomly generated, level.

Of course, this chase isn’t just about outrunning the bad guys, but also about outgunning them as well. Throughout the game, players jump to maneuver across hills, rails, buildings and even high into the clouds, but in addition, players will also jump to dodge enemy bombs and bullets. The good thing is, players aren’t unarmed and can fire back on the enemies with a number of collected weapons. Players will have a basic weapon, but also will be able to collect and launch missiles at enemies and more interestingly, watermelons, chickens and more to make sure they stay off their tail. The runner gameplay mixed with a little bit of shooting action, provides for some really enjoyable gameplay, especially in-light of how fast-paced the game can be.

Turbolab Pursuit has all the makings of a game that will provide a great time for anyone. Plus, given the fact that it’s free, everyone should at least give this title a go, especially fans of a good runner. Sure, players can purchase coins to further upgrade and customize the main character and vehicle, but it’s not necessary in order to do well. By only playing and collecting the coins in game, I was able to buy enough parts without having to purchase additional coins using real money. I was also able to place a spot in the top 100 on the leaderboards early on before I earned more coins to make my vehicle even better. So with that, players will be able to enjoy the gameplay fully and put up a good score without needing all the best parts right away.

However, this is where the addictiveness of this game sets in. Players will want to purchase more upgrades and play with some of the more unique looking features for their vehicle and character. Thankfully, the addictiveness of the game allows for players to play-through the game over and over again, collect coins in game to purchase parts. Also, players can do little things like watch videos to earn more coins, but it wouldn’t surprise me if some may want to pour a few dollars into this game to quickly upgrade their parts.

Turbolab Pursuit provides fun and easy gameplay which I think most who like runners will enjoy.
