The expanding Business category of apps has made life so much easier for many iOS users. While some apps are a major bust, there are others that are truly life savers.

Let’s face it, when it comes to dealing with the PDF format, most people feel like pulling their hair out in frustration. Not only does the PDF need downloading, but then it must be printed, filled in, signed and scanned. There’s no need to fret any longer, thanks to a useful little app called SignMyPad.

SignMyPad is a PDF signature tool for the iPad that allows users to sign, save and send documents without worrying about printing, faxing or scanning them. From realtors to law offices, SignMyPad is practical for a wide range of businesses and clients.

When users open SignMyPad, they have the option to open a PDF file from email, GoogleDocs, DropBox, iTunes or the web. Users can then view the document, add their signatures and then either save or send it to email, DropBox or another app. If a paper copy is needed, print the document straight from the iPad to an AirPrint supported printer or send it to an email account to print later. It’s as simple as that.

SignMyPad supports up to nineteen signatures, but it only provides one saved signature at no extra charge. Each additional saved signature is available for a small fee. However, users are able to draw as many signatures as they need on a document without paying extra. Before signing with a stylus or a steady finger, users have the option to completely customize their signature with black or blue ink and select a thin, normal or thick ink pen style.

Aside from adding signatures, users can also use SignMyPad to fill in forms, check boxes, add initials and fill in dates on any PDF document. The app is a jack-of-all-trades.

There are a few drawbacks to using SignMyPad. For instance, paying for additional signatures can add up quickly over time. Also, the pro version of the app is a big price difference compared to the regular version. The main difference between the regular version and the pro version is a red ink option and the geo-tagging ability, which comes in handy for legal backup. Users are still forced to pay extra for any additional saved signatures in the pro version.

This user-friendly app is easy for anyone to figure out, and the wide range of editing options adds to the app’s re-use value. Thanks to SignMyPad, filling out PDF forms will never be the same again. Check out the Pro Version here: SignMyPad Pro
