Hedronism is described by the developers as a permutation puzzle. I think that fits pretty well. When starting the game you are presented with a globe with triangular cells of different colors. Your goal is to change all of the cells to a single color. You do this by traveling over them, one cell at a time, in one of the three directions you can travel. Each time you land on a cell it rotates through the possible colors, one by one.
The first couple levels where there are 2 and 3 colors respectively are fairly simple. From there it gets much harder. While each level can be solved as you have unlimited time, the faster you do the better. The game has 3 different difficulty modes, each harder mode adds more triangles to the globe making the puzzle much longer.
You move your position by by tapping in one of the three directions you can move from the current triangle you are on. If you click away from your current position and drag, you can rotate the globe.
This puzzle game is good, but there are a few simple things missing. Would love to see network and local high score boards. Also, a tutorial of some kind would be a welcome addition.
Hedronism is a good puzzle game, permutation or not. It's certainly challenging and fun. I have a feeling that it will be just a little too hard for most people after the first couple levels (me included).
