Now Alarm Clock is a distinctly simple yet concise app that aims to give its users a snapshot of their life at every turn. It's the kind of app that's handy to glance at throughout the day for a variety of different reasons.

Fundamentally it makes for a great alarm clock or sleep timer. It's possible to choose from 5 different alerts, as well as pick music out of one's iTunes playlist. It's simply done but that's to its advantage, proving quick to set up. Now Alarm Clock doesn't stop there, though, offering a great portal to the rest of the day.

Across one screen, Now Alarm Clock displays the date, time, calendar, weather conditions, and stock ticker. For the busy user, it's a great thing to consult at a glance. The Calendar section, for instance, offers users their next three calendar events with tapping on it offering up the rest of the week's. There's no similar expansion of the weather conditions but, to an extent, this isn't needed as the temperature and current weather conditions are displayed clearly anyhow.

While Now Alarm Clock might lack some more information-rich features, it keeps things strong in terms of looks and functionality. Shaking the iOS device turns on a flashlight, which is an immensely useful feature, while an automatic Night mode ensures it's a handy app to leave on during the night. 8 different themes are available, too, each offering a pleasant visual change.

More details would be great, such as a detailed weather report or stock information, but what is there is pretty great. With such a clean interface, Now Alarm Clock is set to be an app that will be particularly ideal alongside iOS 7 in the future, ensuring its place on any organized person's iOS device for a while to come.
