Computer engineering and getting kids into IT isn’t always fun and games, but Nintendo Switch puzzler TryBit Logic certainly makes it seem that way.

Developed by Himacs, the game pits players against an army of bugs and teaches them the fundamentals of computing while they battle them.

The aim of TryBit Logic is to help a friendly ‘Bitrobo’ fight off an onslaught from those pesky glitches, and the way to defeat the enemy is to combine logical operations panels to expose their weaknesses. Toggling a bug’s switch from 0000 or 1111 is the best way to kill them off.

The game features two modes of play: Puzzle and Defence. While in Puzzle Mode, the aim to is use the on-screen operations panels to obliterate the bugs as they appear, while in Defence you’ll find yourself fighting them off as they advance from the right of the screen, towards the Bitrobo on the left.

Although logic is your main weapon in the war on glitches, players also have access to a special attack which kills off all of the bugs on screen in one go, but it’s tied to an energy metre you’ll need to top up.
Previously released for iOS and Android, TryBit Logic is available now from the Nintendo Store.
