The best mobile MMORPGs

MMORPGs still have quite a bit of growing to do in the mobile space, but we're starting to see these large scale multiplayer games more and more. With the promise of games like Lineage II and EVE Online hitting iOS and Android, it's clear to see that MMORPG developers are setting their eyes on mobile.

There are already a few great MMORPGs on mobile if you're looking to do some questing on the go. Here are four of our favorites.

Order & Chaos 2: Redemption

Order & Chaos 2: Redemption has done a lot to move MMORPGs on mobile forward. Flawless graphics, a compelling fantasy story, and intuitive touch controls make this full scale MMORPG a must have. It's the closest thing on iOS you'll find to a full PC MMORPG.

Albion Online

This brand new fantasy MMORPG has captured our imaginations with its huge playerbase, epic PvE and PvP combat, and deep crafting systems. If you're looking for an MMORPG to lose yourself in, you might just want to give Albion a try. The game's currently only out on Android at the moment, but expect to see an iOS version in the near future.

Runescape

If you're waiting for Runescape's official mobile debut, you can still play the classic version of this MMORPG on Android as per RSCRevolution's instructions. The game certainly maintains its old-school appearance, but there's a reason Jagex's 2D fantasy MMO lives on nearly 20 years after it launched.

Vendetta Online

If you're fond of games like EVE Online or Elite Dangerous, Vendetta Online could be the sci-fi mobile MMO for you. Mine for valuable resources, trade with other players, and make a name for yourself in a vast galaxy. Epic space battles guaranteed.
