It's that time again. Time to round up the best games that are currently on sale on the App Store. We've survived another week. Well done everyone. I hope it hasn't been too difficult and you've got some awesome plans for the weekend that involve spending time with the people who mean the most to you in the whole world.

There are some real winners in the list this week, and I've included links to the App Store and our reviews. There's even some sick videos for you to watch. Make sure you keep your eye on 148Apps next week too. We'll have even more exciting things to share with you, promise.

Life is Strange - download for iOS (now 99c)

A wonderful game about life, living, and all sorts of other stuff. It's full of emotion and incredible ideas, and it's the sort of thing you're going to play all the way through to the end. Buying this will get you the first episode, with the others available as IAPs. But it's well worth it.

Wheels of Aurelia - download for iOS (now $2.99)

A road trip told as a choose-your-own-adventure experience. There's a lot to love here, especially if you're a fan of visual novels. It's slow paced, but in the best possible ways. You're going to fall in love with this one if you like stories that are well told and full of heart.

To The Moon - download for iOS (now $2.99)

A simple looking RPG with an incredible idea at its core. Join two doctors as they try and fulfil the deathbed wish of one of their patients. It might only be happening in the patient's head, but that's not the point. There's so much heart in the game that it's almost impossible to dislike. And for $2.99 it's an absolute bargain.

Deus Ex: The Fall - download for iOS (now $1.99)

Still one of the best FPS games on the App Store. It's set in the same universe at the main console games, and sees you leading an augmented super soldier through a series of dangerous missions. It looks great, it plays surprisingly well, and there's a wonderfully bleak cyberpunk story bubbling along under all the action.

Lumino City - download for iOS (now $2.99)

A point and click adventure that's made entirely out of cardboard. Lumino City has a look all of its own, but it's much more than just a pretty face. There's a brilliant game here, and hours of entertainment to push your face into. If you've been putting off picking it up, you should definitely do it right now.

These three games represent some of the best puzzling you can get on the App Store. They capture the spirit of the games they're based on brilliantly, and chuck a whole bunch of intriguing challenges directly at you. They're all brilliant, they're all worth playing, and that's why I've given you links to all three of them.

Arkanoid vs Space Invaders - download for iOS (now $1.99)

A mash up of two classic arcade games from the dim and distant past. It shouldn't work, but it really sort of does. The retro aesthetic here is a joy to behold, and the play is an awful lot of fun. If you're a retro head or like ideas being combined in weird and wonderful ways, then this is the game you've been waiting for.

Nexomon - download for iOS (now $1.99)

Let's not beat around the bush here, this is Pokemon. But it's Pokemon done with so much love and attention to detail that it's hard to sniff at. There's some new ideas here as well, and a lovely set of monsters to collect. Nexomon is more than just a clone, and it's well worth checking out if you're a fan of pocket monsters of any sort.
