Florence is a great little game about relationships that we absolutely adored. The only problem with it is it's over a little too soon. If you want some other games with some emotional range like Florence, check out these suggestions:

Will It Ever End?

If you want an experience that's eerily similar to Florence, check out Will It Ever End? This is a game about routine and relationships, and it conveys its narrative and ideas completely wordlessly. Its gameplay may be pretty simple, but it uses a lot of visual tricks and employs some great audio to get you wrapped up in the action.

Father and Son

Father and Son is an odd game in that it is both a kind of advertisement for the Archaeological Museum of Naples and a story of a man who never knew his father. The game has you visiting Naples after the passing of your father and visiting the museum exhibits he helped put together. Along the way, you find yourself diving back in time to Pompeii and Ancient Egypt, where you learn a little about ancient history, but the game stays memorable and affecting through its character relationships. As an added bonus, Father and Son is completely free, so make sure to pick it up.

Gemini - A Journey of Two Stars

Perhaps the most “gamey” game on this list, Gemini is a bit of an abstract puzzler about two stars. You explore mystical spaces using a simple touch control scheme, but there are legitimate puzzles and obstacles to work around all along the way. This game is also wordless, but through its gameplay and excellent soundtrack, it is capable of packing a huge emotional punch, which is impressive considering how amorphous the game looks.
