Facebook's new Instant Games is now here, meaning you can play games with your friends directly via Facebook. It's a fun new way to connect with friends, of course, but it's also proving to be a solid gaming experience in its own right, with a great collection of games right out of the gate. We've narrowed down the best of the bunch so you don't have to.

Endless Lake
Sure, Endless Lake resembles games like Fez and Monument Valley to an almost shameless degree, but it's actually a great game of its own. Use single or double taps to jump across obstacles and make the highest score. It's quite pretty and the music is nice and soothing.

PAC-MAN
Another one that lays on the nostalgia, Pac-Man on Facebook is everything you were probably expecting, and that's a great thing. You can now play the original Pac-Man on Facebook against friends. Happy munching!

HEX FRVR
This iOS classic joins the Facebook fray, too. It's a new take on the match 'em up genre, asking you to snugly fit colorful clumps of hexagons together to get the best score possible. It's a head-scratcher, for sure, but it's also great fun.

Words with Friends: Frenzy
Facebook is giving you an excuse to get addicted to Words with Friends all over again with this new timed variation of the classic Scrabble-inspired game. Now, tiles are constantly being cycled through so you have a limited amount of time to think of the best word to use. It's stressful, but you won't be able to stop.

Of course, these five games aren't the be-all and end-all of Facebook games. This initial batch has plenty of variety, from word puzzlers, to endless runners, to classic arcade shooters, to match three games. Get out there and test them out and find which one you like best!
