Star Wars: Force Arena joined the populous ranks of Star Wars games on mobile today. It's a two-lane MOBA starring many familiar faces from George Lucas's famed sci-fi franchise. As with most games of this nature, Force Arena can be a little obtuse at times. Fear not, though, young padawan. You have a lot to learn, but soon you'll be sweeping through the lanes and destroying enemy turrets like the true Jedi master you were born to be. We here at 148Apps are here to help with a few beginner's tips to set you on your way.

Learn your cards
The characters in Force Arena have been recreated in great detail. However, that also means certain cards, like the assorted Rebel troops, look pretty much the same. It can be hard to differentiate between their different roles, but it's extremely important that you do. Some units are well-poised for close-up combat, while others prefer to go at it from a distance.

Before you go out and look for an opponent, spend some time in your deck learning the faces of these different roles. This will help you prepare your strategy before you go into battle. You'll know which cards to send into the fray to soak up damage, and which ones to leave in the back so they don't die too quickly.

Keep an eye on both lanes
It may seem more fun to swarm a turret and concentrate a number of your units to take it out quickly, but you'll be leaving your own turrets and shield generator defenseless should enemy leaders sneak down the other lane. Keep an eye on the mini-map in the upper left-hand corner. It will show all enemy movements so you can send backup to vulnerable areas.

Approach turrets carefully
Don't rush into battle without a thought. You're going to need a plan. Your hero card may have powerful abilities, but they can still die in seconds if they're being attacked on all sides by enemy units and turrets. If you're crossing into enemy territory, send some help in first. Squishy ground units can provide a nice distraction until you make your move. Alternatively, send in a hefty tank unit to cause some chaos and protect you at the same time.

Force Arena takes some learning. There are many different strategies you'll need to consider, depending on which deck you're using. Start out slowly and experiment with all of the different tools available to you. With a little practice you'll be leading the fight against the Empire in true Jedi fashion.
