Skullgirls became something of a cult favorite after it was first released on PC and console way back in 2012. The game's even developed something of a competitive scene over the years. Now, after a long wait, the game is finally making its mobile debut.

Skullgirls arrives on iOS and Android on May 25. It's not a worldwide launch, however. The game will be available in North and South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and the Philippines.

The mobile release hopes to capture the same feel found in previous versions, but with the accessibility often tied to mobile games. The touch controls will still feel as frenetic and strategic, but the hope is that Skullgirls will appeal to players from all walks of life.
