PUBG Mobile's PMCO 2021 Spring Split will kick the battle royale's esports program off next year and teams will be able to register from tomorrow over on the official site. It will see some of the best semi-professional players facing off against one another as they look to reach the next level of competition.

Teams will have until January 24th to register and given how popular the PMCO proved to be last year, you can expect quite a few entrants again this year. Given the increased interest, it will expand into more regions with 27 able to get involved in total.

Tens of thousands of teams entered the PMCO throughout 2020 so it's only natural that it would expand into new territories as interest and appetite to get involved increases. It's great to see PUBG Mobile provide a tournament for semi-professional players too as it makes the world of pro esports seem that little bit more accessible.

The full list of regions includes the follow; CIS, Europe WC, MENA WC, Africa, South Asia WC, LATAM WC, North America, Malaysia & Singapore, Southeast Asia WC, HMT, Wildcard, Turkey, Germany, UK, France, Saudi, Iraq, Egypt, UAE, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Bangladesh, Brazil and Mexico.

The PUBG Mobile esports tournaments have received an incredible amount of interest throughout 2020, with records for viewership being broken. The prize pool also stood at a staggering $14,000,000, which is almost treble what it used to be when the program started back in 2018.

PUBG Mobile is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
