As we move full-speed ahead into May, it's safe to say that spring has thoroughly sprung, and Pokémon GO is all set to celebrate. Starting this afternoon until May 8, trainers will be able to find Grass-type Pokémon at higher rates, according to Professor Willow, and folks are encouraged to catch as many as they possibly can.

Rather than increasing the rate at which rare Pokémon can be found, this World Bloom event instead encourages players to share their findings online with the #PokémonGO hashtag. That's a bit of a bummer, but considering we're just coming out of the Easter event not entirely unexpected. However, more Grass-type Pokémon in general is never a bad thing, is it? Niantic did share one helpful hint on Twitter, though -- Lure Modules will last for six hours for the duration of the event.
