It's safe to say that Nordcurrent, the Lithuanian mobile games studio, had a pretty decent 2015.

For a start, it managed to achieve a milestone 150 million downloads for its combined portfolio of games.

Cooking Fever, the time-management restaurant simulator, was the standout performer though. It clocked out at 70 million downloads and climbed up the top charts once again thanks to its placement in the App Store's Best of 2015 list.

That success is largely thanks to the steady stream of updates and the Android, Kindle, and Windows Phone launches.

Initially,Cooking Feverlaunched with five different restaurants but that has since climbed to 13. That's over 500 levels worth of content, to put it in context.

The restaurants range from fast food places and pizzerias to ice cream parlours and juice shops. You'll even find an underwater restaurant - it's pretty unique.

Going forward, 2016 looks just as exciting forCooking Fever, as Nordcurrent is looking to add even more restaurants to the game.

The next planned restaurant is particularly exciting, as it's based on an incredibly popular brand. That being said, other new ideas are currently in the oven, and a Facebook version is all set for launch.

Let's not neglect Nordcurrent's other titles though, as they're still performing well. 101-in-1 Games in particular is still mainting steady download levels and has hit a total 40 million downloads.

Gamebanjo, which offers a ton of different games in a single application, managed to surpass five million downloads as well.

Looking forward, Nordcurrent is poised to release a sequel toBuilding the Great Wall of China, and a currently unannounced title which is under development with a mid-core audience target.

Cooking Feveris available right now from the App Store [download], Google Play [download], the Microsoft Store [download], and the Amazon Appstore [download].
