Spotify Music has a lot going on. They're introducing 3 new modes to serve all your musical needs, with the "Now" start page gives you curated playlists based on your particular tastes. As you listen the app will learn more about your tastes and adapt to choose better music for you.
For runners, there's Spotify Running. The app gives you great playlists to pump you up and will detect your tempo to match music to your time. Spotify has also teamed up with Nike, and later this year they'll be adding access to the new Spotify Running experience through the Nike+ app. You can expect to have RunKeeper integration with Spotify Running in the future as well.
Last up is videos. Yes, Spotify is now offering video clips for your entertainment. You'll be able to watch clips from Comedy Central, ABC, BBC, ESPN, and Maker Studios.
“We're bringing you a deeper, richer, more immersive Spotify experience,” says Daniel Ek, Founder and CEO at Spotify, in a press release. “We want Spotify to help soundtrack your life by offering an even wider world of entertainment with an awesome mix of the best music, podcasts and video delivered to you throughout your day. And we’re just getting started.”
You can download Spotify Music for free on the app store to start checking out all of the new features.
