Hidden Folks gets new levels in "Factory" update

Hidden Folks, the beautiful hidden objects game known for its monochromatic design and adorable mouth sounds, is getting a big update quite soon. Titled "Factory", the new patch introduces a brand new area of the same name on June 15.

The update will feature 30 new targets, plenty of interactions, and hundreds of newly recorded sounds and fresh stories. It's essentially a free expansion pack.

The Hidden Folks team is super excited about the update, so much so that they're rolling out three new blog posts on the game's Steam page giving players a behind-the-scenes look at how new puzzles are made. Each object is hand drawn and then scanned and sent to a sprite editor, where the world is painstakingly constructed from thousands of different bits. It's pretty impressive, and you can check it out here.
