In an interview with Pocket Gamer, Otilia Lazar of Gameloft estimates a worldwide release of Blitz Brigade this May. The fast-paced shooter released in France back in February which led to the decision to fine-tune some things before the full release. One of the changes that was made during the fine-tuning process was to remove a token system that allowed users to play multiplayer matches.

Lazar says in a Pocket Gamer interview that "Players started off with five tokens, which they could spend to join multiplayer matches. Those tokens regenerated over time for free. But we received a lot of requests asking for unlimited free multiplayer matches, so we took the tokens out and gave the fans what they wanted."
