As reported yesterday, Nintendo was gearing up a live press event for their popular mobile game,Fire Emblem Heroes. While the stream revealed a lot of new things, the event was entirely in Japanese. Luckily we have a rundown of what was announced all here.

First up is the announcement that Nohrian prince Xander will arrive as an attainable character on May 2nd. It's a little surprising he hasn't released sooner, but fans ofFire Emblem: Conquestwill sure to be pleased.

Secondly, there will be updates to the Arena mode, allowing players to earn orbs depending on their Arena rank. The higher their rank, the more orbs they can earn so start training.

A new round of voting will start-up in May, this time letting players throw their lot in with their favorite magician characters. Choose between your favorite male mages (M!Robin, Merric, Leo and Henry) as they face a female mage team (Julia, Linde, Sanaki and Tharja).

Lastly, in honor of Golden Week, the drop rate for the special Hero Festival will increase, giving players an even greater chance at winning a five-star hero like Ryoma, Azura, Takumi, or Hector.

Beyond that were some brief glimpses of announcements yet to be made, including a look at Masked Lucina who might be joining the game soon.
