Dash Quest Heroes has certainly been a pleasant surprise. It's an endless runner paired with Zelda-esque hack and slash RPG mechanics, with charming pixel graphics that veer far from the generic. It's a great little diversion with some pretty hefty details.

Pay attention to what's happening on the sidelines

As you make your way through the land, you'll be accosted by monsters and other obstacles in your path. But when you're not hacking at goblins with your sword, pay attention to what's happening off road. You'll find apples and other items that could help restore your health, or random quests that might grant you some useful rewards.

Don't forget about your special abilites

You'll unlock special abilities as you progress, but don't forget about them. You can upgrade them as you get more experience, and they're super helpful in tougher battles. They'll grant your weapons ultra powerful attacks, ranged abilites, and much more.
