Nintendo just revealed what players can expect from Fire Emblem Heroes in the coming weeks, with a good deal of fresh goodies arriving just in time for the game's six-month anniversary. The announcements arrived in a 15-minute FEH Channel stream on YouTube, and it was 15 minutes jam-packed with new Fire Emblem Heroes content. Here's what we learned.

A new Bound Hero Battle map is coming on August 7, featuring Cecilia and Lilina. This special event works much like a Grand Battle, and will reward fans with free Orbs. Who doesn't like free Orbs? There's a new Grand Battle, too, if you like to keep with tradition. This new Grand Battle features Valter, a Lance Flier bearing the Cursed Lance, which speeds up his special skill charge by one after taking four points of damage. This battle will arrive a bit later in August.

The third Tempest Trial also arrives in August, this time featuring heroes from Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia. Players will have a chance to win a new hero, while enjoying a number of new updates to the Tempest Trial format, including multi-party management, an Easy difficulty mode, and score bonuses.

Nohrian Summer Summons will also be making their debut under a new banner, featuring Female Corrin, Leo, Xander, and Elise. They'll be arriving slightly earlier on July 28.

On top of all of that goodness, Nintendo is hosting a six-month anniversary celebration featuring log-in rewards for folks who sign in for 10 straight days from August 10 - 22, and August 22 - September 11. Players will get two free Orbs a day, for a grand total of 40 if they take full advantage of the festivities.

A new Summon Event -- the Starter Support Event -- begins on August 10, too, which offers a 20 Orb log-in bonus and a 5% focus rate. Phew.

If you want all of the nitty gritty, the Fire Emblem Heroes subreddit has every little detail, down to the last status point.
