Another week, another slate of new mobile games. Although there weren't as many big name releases as last week, there were plenty of unique video game titles that came out that's sure to keep you interested over the weekend. Everything from classic adventure game throwbacks, to a gorgeous puzzler, we app experts played through this week's games to recommend you the best of the best.

Vignettes

"Vignettes is a really cool, toy-like puzzle game," reads our review for this unique puzzle game, and it's hard to disagree.Vignettes is another in a long line of visually interesting puzzle games mobile platforms have become known for, and it's the perfect game to tinker with during those free minutes you might find yourself with during your work commute or lunch. With gorgeous visuals and a unique gameplay mechanic where you simply turn objects to find a hidden path,Vignettes is a great little distraction for your day-to-day.

Die With Glory

Die With Gloryis a throwback to classic adventure games likeSecret of Monkey Island except instead of a pirate, you play as a legendary viking with a death wish. With charming visuals and expansive story,Die With Gloryis a definite boon for gamers who miss old-school games.

War of Crown

War of Crown is an expansive tactics RPG that feels very much like a full game. Feature rich and gorgeously designed,War of Crownsometimes feel a little too complicated at times, which only demonstrates how jam-packed the game feels with features. Navigating your heroes in strategic combat,War of Crown might be a good alternative if you've grown a little bored ofFire Emblem Heroes' more streamlined approach to tactical RPGs.

CATS: Crash Arena Turbo Stars

Do you like cats and robots? Then you'll loveCats: Crash Arena Turbo Stars which pits players against each other (cats against each other?) in a robot combat game modeled after those old robot fight shows on TV. Build your own robot armed with chainsaws and spikes, and send cats to fight for your glory in this gonzo mobile game. Our review raves about the core game, while also suggesting that some of the free-to-play paywalls are a bit excessive, and detract from the overall experience.

If you've played any of these games, tell us what you thought of them in the comments!
