It's a grotesque dual-stick shooter that tosses you into an endless, procedurally generated basement as you, the pitiable Isaac, attempt to escape from your mother who's set on sacrificing you.

The game doesn't tell you what spells or potions do, so you'll have to try them to find out, often to hilarious and disastrous effect.

Crypt of the NecroDancer can be brutal, but you'll quickly forgive it once you immerse yourself in its one-of-a-kind mix of dungeon crawling and rhythm game mechanics. Plus it's set to a stellar soundtrack that will have you tapping your feet long after you set your phone down.
