Why did we build this app?
Well we love food and we love food trucks. There are 2 greatest obstacles for Food Trucks. Consumers “Taste for Variety”. People want options, in fact, food trucks that remain in the same location for two days straight lose 10 % in profit compared to those that found a new location. Truck’s inherent mobility tackles this directly ONLY if they can remain visible and assiduously engage with their followers/clients. Locational Uncertainty. Can your truck be found? How fast? How easy? Mobility also means being adaptive to obstacles and being able to efficiently communicate with customers. The Seattle Food Truck App actively overcomes these problems and makes you money, improves marketing, and enhances the user experience!
How does it work? Food truck owners set up their profile. Set up your operating hours, cuisine, where you are located (which can be changed any time you choose to change it), offer daily specials and new items, add pictures, the power is in your hands. After you have set up your food truck, your location and profile information is broadcasted live to bring users a list of food trucks beginning with the ones closest to the user’s desired location. Users have the additional options to browse for trucks in a map view, select a favorite cuisine, choose which times they want to eat, utilize an in-app search, or track their favorite trucks.
What makes us stand out from the rest is the consumer can order and pay ahead of time. For the food truck owners, this allows the cooks and operators to prep, avoid long lines and lengthy ticket times, which allows your truck to get even more customers and business. Save time with automated order processing and payments which helps both the consumer and the food truck!
