Hadith Qudsi are the sayings of the Prophet Mohammad as it was received by the Almighty God . Hadith Qudsi (or Sacred Hadith ) are so named because , unlike the majority of Hadith which are Prophetic Hadith , their transmission chain ( Sanad ) is to God and not the original Prophet.
