App Description

The Eastern Cree Keyboard App was designed to allow users to enter Eastern Cree Syllabics into iOS devices, including iPhones and iPads running iOS 8 or later. This adds the ability to type syllabic symbols directly into your device's text fields, including word processing, note taking, social media, and text messaging apps.

The Eastern Cree syllabic characters are arranged into several keyboards. The keyboards are arranged in vowel-consonant associations with vowels arranged in the following keyboards:

(-/p) x (ě, i, u, a, ii, uu, aa)
(t/k/c/m) x (ě, i, u, a, ii, uu, aa)
(n/s/sh/y) x (ě, i, u, a, ii, uu, aa)
(r/l/v/th) x (ě, i, u, a, ii, uu, aa)
(w/h/other) x (ě, i, u, a, ii, uu, aa)

The Eastern Cree Keyboard app also includes installation instructions and directions for enabling specific keyboards.
