Spirit of Revenge: Cursed Castle HD - A Hidden Object Mystery Game 9+

Spirit of Revenge: Cursed Castle places you as a female detective who has been sent to determine whether the Flatsbury Castle is really cursed, or whether someone is merely trying to discourage visitors. You meet little Jessie, the daughter, who has been traumatized by the fiery ghosts of the castle. You must decode the secrets of the castle, including the possible murder of the architect, who was in love with the owner's daughter. There are moving gargoyles, dolls that catch on fire, and vanishing werewolves. What more could one ask? The game contains some good features, like a Hint and Skip button, a Diary, and a Transporting Map. You even log on to the laptop of the tutor to see what she thought about Jessie. There are Morphing Objects to identify and collect. The Hidden Object puzzles are the mix of regular and shadow images. I enjoyed all that, but had some difficulty creating a name in the Player Profile! Tried it three times, and finally played anonymously! Do not let that stop you, though. From the sample game so far, I intend to purchase this one, and hope there will be more from this company. Happy Cursing, Castle fans!

I also had the same problem with putting my name in at the beginning. I typed the first letter, but when I went to put the second letter in, it just typed the same letter in again- then it froze and kicked me out. Someone said they had to play anonymously and I ended up doing the same. I'm only in the trial, but I probably won't purchase because I also found that the response time after I tapped an object was off making me tap a few more times which was rather annoying. Great graphics and story line, though.

Like most of the other reviews before me, I also had a problem with creating a profile name, but if u just use anything it accepts or play as "player", I promise you won't regret it. It is a superb game with beautiful graphics with a logical storyline that is challenging to follow. I LOVE games that have labeled inventory items, a touch-screen teleporting map, a variety of mini-games, and scenes so real, you feel like you're there. These are the things I look for in other reviews before I buy a game. Please keep these kind of mystery games coming! Also, the length of this game was perfect, not too short yet not too long. You sure get your money's worth! The bonus chapter was awesome too. I was checking out the screen shots and drawings at the end of the game and it makes you realize everything that had to be done for just this ONE game to be made! Just wanted to say thanks to the developers and creators -you deserve it.
