sonicPlanet presents Ince Saz "Laterna" within the genuine Omniwaves app framework.

We promise you an experience beyond the conventional stereo listening by transferring your position and orientation to a virtually represented performance space.

Ince Saz is a traditional music band from Istanbul well known with their characterised arrangements of local traditional music. "Laterna" appears on their latest CD "Geçsin Günler" published by Kalan Music.

They delivered us the multi track recordings of this piece and we have integrated them into our Omniwaves app framework with a virtual acoustics engine.

By using this app you can navigate physically through an accurate virtual representation of this performance record, including the performers position and the acoustics of the room, all way beyond the flat stereo imaging. Hence, you can get closer to any instrument you wish, never complain about your seat which you could find at the concert venue.!

Album piece or concert performance recordings can be embedded into our Omniwaves framework by considering the physical positioning of the individual instruments and natural acoustic components of the performance medium.

Our aim is to present a realistic and interactive 3D sonic environment remarkably enhanced than conventional “stereo” sound. You can have further information about the available sonicPlanet frameworks and services on our website.
