This year feels a little different to the much-exited Emily as she enjoys the preparations. She builds a fancy snow-woman, Katrina, in her yard; places her gifts for her family under the Christmas tree and arranges the delicate angel choir on the table. Keen for the celebrations and presents, she prepares to sleep as the shy boy next door builds his snowman.
Unable to sleep she gets out of the bed to check on her beautiful Katrina, only to encounter amazing events. The snow people are moving, her pets dancing, the angel choir flying and many such fascinating things. The night becomes even more thrilling, as Katrina and the snowman turn in to a real, dashing couple. They swoop and swirl on the moonlit snow, invite Emily to join them and the trio dances until dawn.
