App Description

Copenhagen has received the title of "European Green Capital 2014" as a result of its environmental record and its ambitious goals. Mention was made of the city's efforts to work with companies, universities and organisations in order to further green growth, the "Green Laboratory" component in its North Harbour project, and its efforts to increase the proportion of the population cycling to work to 50% by 2015.

The Danish capital is known as one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in the world, with bicycles actually outnumbering its inhabitants. The city's bicycle paths are extensive and well used, boasting 400 km of cycle lanes not shared with cars or pedestrians, and sometimes have their own signal systems - giving the cyclists a lead of a couple of seconds to accelerate.

Maybe you belong to the group of those who use the bike for commuting and maybe you bicycle only occasionally. In any case, if you need help with choosing a route use this application which will certainly be helpful.

In this application you will find:
• maps and routes
• cycle route locations
• current and complete cycle ways
• showing user's location
• tips for riding safely
• advice for new riders
• sharing map routes
• sharing map location and information
