Ratings and Reviews
Lacks very basic functions
This is really a beginner’s app. It does some interesting things, but it lacks very basic features like being able to zoom in on an image to inspect it at full size. This is the first graphics program I’ve ever seen that doesn’t have a zoom function.
Plus, there’s no way to add effects, textures, overlays, etc., so you’re stuck with only the ones that come with it & you pretty quickly get tired of those.
Flare is a good idea with some promising features but needs work to be very useful. If the developers added a few basic things it would be killer. but ss it is, it’s still strictly for kids.
Very Basic - Don't waste your money.
I would not recommend purchasing this as you are better off editing images using the free Apple Photos app that comes with your Mac or iPhone. Once you're ready to go to the next level of photo editing, go for Adobe Lightroom instead.
Does not work well with El Capitan
The old version served me well with the old operating system, but it would not work well with El Capitan…so thinking rev 2 would be better I purchased it and am deeply dissapointed that it loads slowly and it takes forever to render a coverted image. I sincerly hope that an update will be coming out soon to bring this program up to minimum standards of performance.
