Answer as many questions as you can (as quickly as you can) to help your racer WIN the race. Longer words = more power! Spell 4 words in a row correctly, and you’ll give your racer an extra POWER BOOST. The winner is the first one to cross the finish line.
Choose the DOLCH WORD LISTS you want to IMPROVE:
PLAY the LEVEL that is RIGHT for your learner’s ability/age. Choose from Pre Primer, Primer, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3 and Nouns , plus a level with ALL SIGHT WORDS.
THREE FUN THEMES to play!
FAST FAIRIES: Which fairy will race for you? Pearl Petal, Rosy Red Socks, Spring Sparkle or Lucky Star?
HOT CARS: Will you be Blue Blazer, Golden Glow, Red Rocket or Pink Power?
FAIRY TALE DASH: Choose from Little Red Riding Hood (My what a fast car she has!), Pinocchio (Will he win by a nose?), Goldilocks (Will it be 'Just right!' for her?) or The Gingerbread Man (Crumbs! He's fast!)
Choose your GAME TYPE:
We’ve included 3 different ways to learn and practise these important vocabulary.
Copy & Type – This is the easiest game. Simply copy the word you see on screen.
Missing Letters – Players have to type the full word, but have to know which letter the ‘?’ or ‘??’ is/are hiding. There may be 1 or 2 letters missing from each word.
Listen & Type – This is the trickiest level, as the only clue players get is to hear the word to hear the SIGHT WORD SPOKEN.
TWO SPEED LEVELS:
Slow = It’s a bit easier and perfect for younger players or non-native speakers of English
Fast = Great for more confident learners who can spell quicker and know longer words. Much faster too!
