The Magellan SmartGPS app gives you the SmartGPS navigator experience on your smartphone! This free app is designed to be a robust search tool with an extensive Points of Interest library. In addition, Yelp displays suggested locations and deals in dynamic flipping squares, always staying relevant to your location.

With an in-app purchase for turn-by-turn navigation, you are able to make your Magellan SmartGPS app into a complete stand-alone search and navigation tool.

The SmartGPS app can now be made compatible with JLR InControl for Jaguar or Land Rover cars through separate in-app purchase. To use Magellan SmartGPS Navigation in Jaguar or Land Rover vehicles, you need to first install the Jaguar InControl™ App or Land Rover InControl™ App on your phone.

SmartGPS app features in the FREE download include:
• Information Squares – The innovative interface makes selections easy to access with features presented in squares. Get Yelp, Navigation, Traffic, Safety and Fuel all on one control panel.
• Landscape Mode – Landscape mode provides an improved peripheral view of your surroundings
• PhantomALERT – Receive audible and visual warnings of red light and speed cameras along your route FREE for your first year!
• Searchable maps – Scan the entire USA and Canada.
• Points of interest– Conveniently search for restaurants, hotels, gas stations, etc.
• Free map updates – Receive map updates, when available, at no additional charge.

The standard in-app purchase adds turn-by-turn navigation to your app. You can select yearly or monthly subscriptions.
Premium feature navigation subscription gives you the full feature set including:
• Turn-by-turn Navigation – Voice-guided navigation with street names with a highlighted route on your screen.
• Landmark Guidance - Receive directions using landmarks as your guide versus street names, making it a more intuitive way to navigate.
• Real time traffic flow – Check your route for traffic conditions.
• Share – The "Send To SmartGPS” function allows you to search for your destination from your smartphone and send to your SmartGPS Navigator as soon as you get in your car for a seamless navigation experience.
