App Description

To use ham radio, you must pass a written examination and be assigned a call sign from the FCC. Currently there are three different classes of amateur radio license: Technician, General, and Extra.

This app contains practice test questions and answers from the official NCVEC Technician class question pool, which is valid until June 30, 2014.

The Technician exam is fairly easy, covering basic ham radio regulations, safety, operating practices, and simple electronics. To pass the test you'll need to score at least 75% on the written exam, which is comprised of 35 questions pulled from a pool of nearly 400 questions. You'll practice those questions with this app.
