When you are at an airport, you can activate a free 24-hour inflight reader session by signing in to your account and your free 24-hour Inflight Reader session begins with your first download at the airport or, even better, download the books and magazines that you want to read ahead of time at home and simply unlock them for reading when you get to the airport. Please note that activation of Inflight Reader sessions requires you to be at an airport location so the app periodically checks your location in the background - continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. We background check location only intermittently to avoid undue battery drain.

Hit or miss

Downloaded three magazines at Newark. Too a very long to completely download but I got a message saying each was complete.
Was able to read all of mag one and two but the Shape magazine closed the app every time.
Am now at LAX and app still closes each time I attempt to read Shape. Agree with others - needs a bit of work.

Magazines and Airports: A Great Idea

I now can happily look forward to my next Airport experience. InFlight gave me instant access to news and entertainment magazine titles that now fill my waiting and flight time with information and pleasure.
App was fast and has clear directions.

Needs work

Well it's a nice idea, BUT
1) very limited selection of magazines (mostly back of the rack mags I have never heard of... No auto, no IT/computer, limited general news
2) If I download 3 magazines I am lucky if at least one does not crash (Health and Fitness crashed every time - popular science worked after a few tries)
