Good if it reads the signal
This app is simple and easy to use. Unfortunately it will only read the fan about 15% of the time, maybe less. In the fan favorite section it should just store the fan so you could go to it and then send a signal to activate it. It doesn't. Usually it's just empty when you open up fan favorite. It's the luck of the draw with the odds against you that your fan will show up on the app and distance is not the issue. Sad.
Ugly basic app that works
I had low expectations for this aspect of my new fan, didn’t even realize it had app control. As far as smart home tech goes, it’s super basic and BT only isn’t awesome - but it works if you are too lazy to get up and find the remote. It seems to get out of sync if you use multiple input devices at the same time. It’s not been updated for various screen sizes. Obviously could be better, but I’ve also used far far worse.
Great start, but needs updating
I use the app nearly everyday and it connects 95+% of the time. I wish you could pin a fan instead of it searching every time you open the app, but at least it finds my fans quickly. The timer is able to schedule a fan for up to six hours in one minute increments...why not make it five or 15 minute increments and let me schedule it 12 or even 24 hours? Overall, I'm very pleased with the functionality. Who else can control their fan from their phone?
